Lasting change happens when the adults around a child feel just as supported as the child themselves.
Building Stronger Relationships
Through trauma-informed education, therapeutic support and practical coaching, Paper Trails helps foster and kinship carers better understand the children in their care and the experiences that may sit beneath their behaviour.
We work alongside carers to make sense of the different pieces of a child’s story, strengthen relationships and build confidence in responding in ways that promote safety, healing, growth and connection. Support is tailored to the needs of the child, carers and the referring organisation. It may include psychoeducation on trauma and attachment, therapeutic parenting strategies, support during transitions to permanent care, and collaboration with Child Protection, schools and other professionals.
Fee-for-service packages are tailored to the needs of the child, family and care team.
Therapeutic Support Pathways
Every child, family and care team is different. Our structured support pathways are tailored to individual needs and combine therapeutic intervention, trauma-informed education and collaboration to strengthen understanding, relationships and the support surrounding the child.
